Amber Rose is killing it these days: author, actress, model, musician and the list goes on. Despite how busy she is, she always finds time for her son.
Amber Rose is a powerhouse. She's working actively in so many different areas of entertainment, and she still constantly finds time for her son. On February 21, 2013, Sebastian Taylor Thomaz was born to Amber and her former beau Wiz Khalifa. Since then, Amber has been kind enough to share some his adorableness on her social media with the world. Regardless of how packed her schedule is or what projects she may be deeply involved in, she always makes time to teach, play or just be with Sebastian. That's very inspiring to career-focused moms everywhere.
Amber Rose – movie star!
As we've previously profiled on FirstSlice, Amber is about to be a bonafide movie star. She recently delivered a star-making performance as the lead character in Sister Code. It's a hilarious movie about three sisters who always try to get each other's backs, even if one of them may have blackmailed a rapper. Check out the trailer here!
On filming the movie, Amber told MTV News:
"It was an amazing experience, This is like my first really big role and I'm the type of person that absorbs knowledge. I just really got to know the other actors. They're more seasoned than me. They just taught me more along the way."
This is just one of many movies that Amber is involved in. She's also starring in Cameron and Eddie Lose the Belt, an MMA themed comedy. Oh and she played "Mary Wanna' In Nick Cannon's amazing comedy School Day. As a father himself (to adorable twins Morrocan and Monroe), and Amber's manager, I'm sure Nick understood Amber's commitment to getting in work while making time for her son.
Musician and comedian!
Amber's song Fame is currently sitting pretty on Youtube with over 2 MILLION views across all the videos that fans have posted of the song. More recently, Amber has teamed up with comedian Amy Schumer to drop a quick verse in her song Milk, Milk Lemonade (an ode/societal takedown of the female behind). She even joined Schumer as part of a sketch about the wonders of seeing movies by yourself. I'm sure there are many more good things from Amber coming up on the musical horizon!
As also profiled on FirstSlice, Amber Rose's How To Be A Bad Bitch is dropping October 15th (but you can pre-order it on Amazon)! According to the book, the definition of a "bad bitch" is "A self-respecting, strong female who has everything together. This consists of body, mind, finances, and attitude; a woman who gets her way by any means necessary." It's great to see Amber stand up for women everywhere, and she's even going to be organizing her own events to raise awareness for women's rights.
With all these projects, Amber is still letting potential love into her life with rapper Machine Gun Kelly.
In a piece on rapper Machine Gun Kelly, I talked about how he and Amber are just starting to date, and trying to make it work. Amber has recently been posting pictures of her bae on her Instagram, and she said to VH1 "We're dating. We're just getting to know each other."
With all this going on, just how deeply involved is Amber Rose with raising her son? One example is how she teaches Sebastian a new word every week, which would be tough for any two year old but he nails it. Here's a video where he says "translucent," a word I didn't know until I was probably 24.
Sometimes Amber knows that she can't be with Sebastian every time she wants to, and this tweet sums up the plight of working moms everywhere.
Today Is my moms birthday and I can't even be home with her and Sebastian in La as I am in Nyc getting this shmoney. #HappyBDayMsDottie ❤️

Here's another adorable picture of Sebastian having a great time at a train museum! This kid appreciates trains and knows the word "translucent," he's already much more cultured than most people.
