When you're a kid, you make some pretty lofty promises to your childhood best friend forever.
Like, if my best friend gets married before me then I have to throw the most epic bachelorette party ever. If I don't get married within 10 years, then legally, I have to wed my friend from first grade. If they don't want to marry me, then within 15 years I have to move into a haunted mansion with my two best friends as we try to fight ghosts and raise cats.
But Anna Kendrick treats adulthood a lot more realistic than I do, and to be fair, her acts of duty to friendship is a lot nicer.
On August 2 in Maine, Kendrick served as her best friend's maid of honor, and gifted her a full set of diamond jewelry on loan from Harry Kotlar.
A source close to the actress reveals, "Anna felt bad because she's been working nonstop and couldn't be there to do all the traditional duties she wanted to do." Kendrick had just wrapped on her new film, Mike & Dave Need Wedding Dates in Hawaii. "She just wanted to make her friend feel even more special on her wedding day to make up for it."
Just further proof that Anna Kendrick is an American doll baby the world loves.
