Whether Floyd Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao is the victor in Saturday's bout, one thing is for sure: all of Mexico will win.
If you're thinking about shelling out the $90 bucks or so to watch the fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao, you should maybe consider taking a trip across the border.
That's right, all of Mexico will be airing the boxing match for free. You have a TV? Then, well, you're absolutely set. Hurra!
The two stations that are covering the event completely gratis are Televisa and Azteca. So yeah, thanks Obama.
Here's what the World Boxing Council had to say about this unprecedented move by the entire country:
"Televisa and Azteca must be recognized for their great commitment, for bringing to Mexico this bout for free. This has never, ever happened in any country of the world."
Seeing as how the official beer of the fight is Tecate, Mexico has invested pretty heavily into this fight. As these two get ready to rumble, Americans get ready to grumble over paying an exorbitant fee to watch.
Maybe the U.S. will start Viva-ing la Revolucion when it comes to making it free to watch two people beat each other to a pulp. Wasn't that a certain inalienable right listed in the Declaration of Independence?
