Someone Has Created A Jam-Filled Sausage And It’s Called “The Dausage”

So, Dausage apparently means donut-sausage… only it's a sausage full of raspberry jam.

Liam Bennett, 37, from Wales has been developing something called a "dausage" or "donut sausage."

AKA a sausage full of jam. And you're like me and are known to dip your sausage in syrup, then this invention is nothing short of genius to you.

Raspberry jam isn't the only ingredient that Bennet has come up with. So far he also has:

  • Pork with Strawberry Jam
  • Pork and Beef with Custard
  • Pork with Leek and Blackcurrant Jam
  • Chicken with Raspberry
  • Dausage Rolls
  • Venison with Strawberry Custard
  • Vegetarian with Primula

"Most people who have tried it have loved it. There is always a bit of wariness to begin with," Bennett said.

Bennet is currently holding taste tests and claims he has received some interest from retailers in the UK. He's started a Kickstarter to raise money to build a machine that can mass produce these joy-filled cured meats.
