1stSlice At SXSW 2016: Key And Peele, Chris Gethard, & Peter Atencio Reveal ‘Keeganese’ At The Keanu Premiere & More!

I love Key and Peele. I do. It’s one of my favorite shows that’s ever come from Comedy Central because the stars Keegan Michael Key and Jordan Peele are so hilarious.

While I was attending SXSW 2016 for 1stSlice we got the chance to talk to the incredible comedians on the red carpet ahead of the midnighters premiere of Keanu! So, what did we talk to them about?

Well, we learned from a little birdy, also known as director of Keanu Peter Atencio, about the most important behind-the-scenes bit/story/tip of all when working with Key and Peele…

Keegan has his own language known as Keeganese that is as simple as pie once you learn all about it… which is exactly what Key and Peele did when we spoke with them!

They totally jammed the jammer into the jams we jammed with them… I think?

But, it’s not only movies and TV shows that Keegan works on with Jordan that he speaks Keeganese at!

Key also worked with Chris Gethard on Don’t Think Twice, the existential comedy film from the brilliant Mike Birbiglia , which premiered at SXSW so we asked him about behind the scenes bits that happened during filming…and Keeganese was one of them!
