Khloe Kardashian is killing it in the business world
Khloe Kardashian knows what it takes to grow a business. Along with Kourtney and Kim Kardashian, the three sisters have launched a variety of fashion and endorsement endeavors. On top of that, Khloe's extremely wide skill-set has allowed her to also work in TV hosting, app development, and in a wide variety of other fields.
Khloe and her sisters opened up a cutting-edge clothing store before Keeping Up With The Kardashians even premiered, and it's still thriving today!
The DASH boutique first opened in Calabasas, CA near the Kardashian's family home. It sold high fashion clothes and accessories, and has since become so famous that there are now three locations: West Hollywood, Miami, and New York (arguably the three most fashionable cities in the US).
Above, Khloe used her Instagram to remind her 25 MILLION followers that they could book a personal style appointment with the girls that work at the store (Dash Dolls). Khloe is also rocking over 14 million Twitter followers, making her one of the most followed social media personalities in the world.
The above ladies will also be taking part in a new show called Dash Dolls that will premiere in the fall. It follow the lives of two employees at the store as they navigate working for the Kardashian sisters while juggling other career and personal aspirations.
Following the success of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Khloe & Kourtney segued into two extremely successful spin-off shows
Khloe immediately started capitalizing on
the publicity from Keeping
Up With The Kardashians
2007. Like I mentioned in FirstSlice's
article on Kris
the business philosophy in the family is to always try to leverage
your talents with available business interests.
Khloe was clearly one
of the breakout stars of the TV show, so spinoffs Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami and Kourtney And Khloe Take The Hamptons soon followed. They were both ratings juggernauts.
Also, they followed the girls as they ran the DASH boutiques in those areas, providing additional PR for their already established business. Synergy like that is the sign of any successful businessperson.
Khloe also hosted the X-factor for one season
Khloe hosted the American version of X Factor, but was getting busy with so many other commitments that she had to sadly depart the show. Kris told E Online that "Everything happens for a reason, but she was in love with her experience and had such a good time." Khloe's payday for the one season gig was a reported $1 million dollars.
Khloe's huge social media following also commands an estimated $15,000 per tweet! That's not to mention the in-person appearances, which go for at least $75,000
Khloe and her sisters are behind the Kardashian Kollection and Kardashian Beauty, which are both doing better than ever!
From the Kardashian Beauty website, the line "includes high performance, innovative ingredients designed to create styles for signature Kardashian looks, whether they be casual and bohemian or red carpet inspired." The products are featured in a variety of stores, and a haircurling iron recently beat out similar products to be featured in Allure magazine.
The Kardashian Kollection meanwhile, has undergone a variety of iterations, but has always sold high-fashion clothes at more affordable prices. It's available all over the place, including Iconic. A testament to it's popularity, the Kollection has over 2 million followers on Instagram.
Khloe is diving into the tech world just like Kim
Business Insider recently revealed Khloe's involvement in an app called Regroupd. With a very active social life, Khloe knows that it can be tough to plan a night out with friends. The app gives users "interactive, decision-making tools" that simplify the entire group messaging process, allowing you to get feedback from your friends.
Founder Lindsey Cummins wanted a "one-stop shop" for messaging, allowing people to chat as usual, but with added features to "make your life easier. It's something that will basically reinvent messaging for everybody."
Khloe is in on the ground floor, with the above picture on her Instagram that says "can't wait to share the app that I've been working on for the past couple months…stay tuned!!!" It already has over 786,000 likes, so the app will surely be huge on its release.
